Mark Kaufman

Mark began playing piano and singing around the age of eight. Through his teens and early twenties, he was the lead singer and keyboard player in various rock bands around the Myrtle Beach area, at the same time attending college as a music major. Mark played the piano at Dolly Partons’ Dixie Stampede for 7 years. He also played a variety of shows including The Shirelles, Little Anthony and the Imperials, Ronnie Milsap, Fabian, Crook and Chase, and others. Mark owned a recording studio where he engineered and produced many records and tv and radio jingles and currently continues to write and record in his home studio. He has been entertaining at Crocodile Rocks since 1996 where he is currently the entertainment director.
