Dean Edwards was working as a stand-up comic in comedy clubs across the country in the mid to late 90s when he visited a dueling piano bar that would change everything. It was dueling piano veteran Cynthia Chen who convinced Dean to quit the comedy clubs and go with dueling pianos. It was a decision that would pay off in every way imaginable. Dean packed up everything he owned into his BMW (yes, really) and set out for Las Vegas in the summer of 2000. Dean eventually landed at Crocodile Rocks in the spring of 2001 and would stay for several years. Dean has worked in different dueling piano clubs across the country, but is now back at Crocodile Rocks and is loving every minute of entertaining the many tourists and locals of the Grand Strand.
